Directed and shot a music video for artist Sh4dows, conceiving a process in which conventionally shot footage was fed through a custom shader to produce a real-time ASCII art translation of the original image. The result was a faithful visual recreation of the video in a text-based render — not a filter approximation, but a programmatic transformation of the footage itself, coded by the artist. The aesthetic has since migrated into mainstream brand and music video work; at the time of production it hadn't.
